An Ordinance for the Falcon Lake Area of the County of Zapata, Texas, Establishing Load Limits on County Streets; Providing for a Permit Procedure for Overweight Trucks; Providing for Truck Routes and for Loading and Unloading; Establishing Exceptions; Providing Enforcement Procedures and Definitions; And Providing For a Penalty

 

 

Noise Abatement Ordinance
Approved on: July 14, 2008

Effective August 1, Zapata County will implement a Noise Abatement Ordinance that will regulate noise from drilling, production and re-drilling of gas wells within the county.

The purpose is to provide regulations regarding distance, noise and technical provisions.

2009

Regulation of Sexually Oriented Businesses Ordinance
Approved on: March 9, 2009

Effective January 12, 2009, Zapata County implemented an ordinance requiring sexually oriented business to apply for a permit from the county.

The purpose is to provide regulations for the establishment of such businesses.

Zapata County and Falcon Lake Area Zoning Regulations
Approved on: December 22, 2009
Amended on: June 13, 2011
These regulations were adopted to promote the following purposes: To provide for the orderly growth and development of the County of Zapata and the Falcon Lake Area, which includes the pueblo of San Ygnacio and the areas described in S. B. 63 adopted by the 87the Session of the Texas Legislature and codified in Section 231.172 Texas Local Government Code

An ordinance of the ZCWW Regulating the Discharge of Waste into the Sanitary Sewers of ZCWW; Establishing a Permit System; Establishing a System of Charge for Services Rendered Regulating Unsewered and Miscellaneous Discharges; Providing for Enforcement and Providing an Effective Date; A Savings Clause and a Separability Clause

 

 

2011

Amusement Machine Redemption Ordinance
Approved on: January 10, 2011

Effective February 1, 2011, Zapata County will implement an Amusement Machine Redemption Ordinance that will regulate licenses and registration certificates, including penalties and enforcement provisions.

The purpose is to provide regulations to all locations operating or seeking to operate an amusement redemption machine and to all amusement redeption machines operated in the County of Zapata.

Day Vendors Ordinance
Approved on: May 9, 2011
An ordinance containing definitions; prohibiting parking lot, lot, and public easement vending within the County of Zapata except within designated vending districts and as permitted herein; establishing vending districts within the County of Zapata; providing for the licensing of day or temporary vendors; authorizing the promulgation of rules and regulations for vending within vending districts; a penalty clause, a severability clause and an emergency clause
