LIBRARY SERVICES

1. Children’s Section: (Fiction, Non-Fiction, Biography, Spanish, Texas Children, Science Experiment Manuals, Reference Books, Audio, Disney’s Ingles Sin Barreras, Magazines, and a selection of Accelerated Reader and Classic Books.
2. Adult Section: (Fiction, Non-Fiction, Biography, Texas Collection, vertical files, school yearbooks, large print books, paperbacks, westerns, reference books, magazines, audios, Ingles sin Barreras and other study guides)
3. Genealogy Department: (Zapata and surrounding areas’ birth, death, baptism, and census records on microfilm, microfiche, and books.)
4. Computer Department: The library provides computer services with internet access to everyone who needs a source for research information, communication, and learning. With the help of the South Texas Library System and the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, the Olga V. Figueroa Zapata County Public Library also proves online databases (Texshare Database and Reference Backup), these databases are used for a source of information if more information is needed or if the library is unable to provide additional information needed.
5. Meeting Rooms: The library provides meeting rooms to different organizations for meetings and other types of gatherings. It is free of charge and is only provided to non-profit organizations.
